Liverpool are the bookmakers’ favourites to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s men, and will have Golden Boot winners Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah fit and firing.


But Sissoko, who is likely to start in Madrid, does not fear the Reds, who finished 26 points ahead of Tottenham in the Premier League.


He said: “The spirit is fantastic.











“Every time we were close to be out but we showed a lot of character to win the game [against Ajax].


“We know we can challenge against every team. I am not scared of Liverpool or any team.


“We all need to challenge and we have to give our best and if we do it we can beat any team. In the past we have showed it.”





Liverpool have made an offer for Thorgan Hazard, the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden, according to reports. Hazard, 26, has been one of the Bundesliga's best players since joining Borussia Monchengladbach, initially on loan, in 2014.
