Harry Kane starts for Tottenham in their Champions League final against Liverpool in Madrid.


The England captain has not played a competitive match for almost two months due to a ‘significant’ ankle injury suffered in April.

Kane is Tottenham’s top scorer this season, but doubts surround his match fitness as Spurs embark on the biggest night in their history.

Harry Winks, who has been out for nearly two months with a hip problem, is also named in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI for the all-English showpiece.


Meanwhile, Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino also returns from injury to start up front for the Reds.
