Mauricio Pochettino is preparing for his first Champions League Final
The two sides have met twice in the Premier League already this season, with Klopp’s men emerging from both contests with all three points.
Back in September, Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino struck at a sun-kissed Wembley to ensure Erik Lamela’s strike was a mere consolation.
While Liverpool’s title hopes were kept alive thanks to a stoppage time own goal by Toby Alderweireld in front of the Kop.
For Pochettino, this has become a rather regular sensation when coming up against his German counterpart.

Liverpool won the most recent meeting between the two sides back in March
The Argentine has beaten Klopp just ONCE from nine previous meetings between the pair.
That sole victory came in 2017 when Harry Kane ran riot at Wembley in a 4-1 win.
Despite his poor record, the 47-year-old insists his poor record should not be scrutinised too closely.

Can Spurs stifle Mohamed Salah in Madrid?
“It is going to be a completely different game,” insists Pochettino. “We cannot prepare for the Champions League final looking back at months ago. It’s a situation in a competition where we’ve never faced each other before.
Spurs have NEVER won in Spain ahead of Madrid clash with Liverpool
“We’ve prepared ourselves to be ready. We know each other very well but we haven’t prepared thinking about the games at Wembley or Anfield. That would be a massive mistake in these different circumstances.
“This isn’t going to be Pochettino vs Klopp, or a tactical battle, it will be about the emotion.”
