Oranje boss Ronald Koeman has transformed the Dutch national team into a real force and his team is littered with immense talent.

Their centre-back pairing of Virgil van Dijk and Matthijs de Ligt, wanted by Manchester United and Liverpool, personifies the team: a brilliant blend of youth, experience and talent.

And ahead of the game, Koeman has said he believes Netherlands have the best two centre-backs in Europe.

“I was not the quality defender of De Ligt or Virgil,” Koeman told the Daily Mail. “They are top, top players.

“We have the best central defenders (in Europe) with De Ligt and Virgil. That’s great because you build the house, always, from downstairs. You don’t start with the roof.”
