Tottenham are preparing a £30million bid for Everton loan star Andre Gomes, according to reports.
The Barcelona midfielder has made 26 appearances since joining the Toffees on loan last summer.
And his performances have caught Tottenham’s eye as the club prioritise a midfield signing in the summer transfer window.
The Telegraph claim Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is prepared to sanction a £30million move for Gomes.
The club’s chief scout Steve Hitchen watched the Portugal midfielder in Everton’s goalless draw at Anfield last month.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, who could axe up to 12 players this summer, is believed to be an admirer of Gomes.

When asked about his Everton future, Gomes said: “To be honest, I try not to think about that.
“One thing football has given to me is teach me how to manage situations and how to enjoy it day by day.
“Every day is a new challenge and every weekend in the Premier League is a new challenge. So I try to think only in the present.
“If I think further ahead than that then I will probably lose my mind in some way.
