Comparing managers across different eras, where some careers are 50 years apart, France Football explain their criteria is based on trophies won, longevity and the impact they have left behind.

Liverpool manager Klopp, who worked wonders at Mainz before landing the Borussia Dortmund job in 2008, is ranked at no.27, one place behind Anfield legend Bob Paisley, who won six First Division titles, three League Cups, three European Cups and the UEFA Cup.
