Roma have hilariously banned all of their players from having their pictures taken with pop star Drake… because he’s believed to be a ‘curse’ to football teams.
The Canadian singer has gained a reputation for being a bad luck charm after posing with players or wearing team shirts.
On Sunday evening, PSG full-back Layvin Kurzawa became the latest victim of the ‘Drake Curse’ following Paris Saint-Germain’s shock thrashing at the hands of Lille – their biggest league defeat in 19 years.
The Frenchman joined a long list of sports stars who have gone on to lose their next game after getting a selfie or picture with the rapper.
And that appeared to be the final straw for the Serie A side, who took to Twitter to announce the decision shortly after, which will be in effect until the end of the season.

They comically wrote on Twitter: “All Roma players banned from taking photos with Drake until the end of the season.”
Arsenal and Manchester City have also fallen on the wrong end of the curse when their stars were pictured alongside the artist.
The Gunners’ Champions League hopes took a dent when they crashed to a 1-0 defeat at Everton after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shared a snap with the singer.
And Manchester City star Sergio Aguero saw his penalty saved by Hugo Lloris in a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham, not long after taking a selfie following his Manchester concert.
Fans following Roma on Twitter were quick to ravish praise on the social media handle for their humour.
One said: “Give this admin a salary raise already.”
Another added: “Admin you deserve Ballon d’Or.”
And with Champions League qualification still very much in the balance, you can’t blame the Italian giants for taking such drastic action.
